Tom* was found in heartbreaking conditions in the winter. His boiler was broken, his home freezing. He was surviving on just a small pizza each day, with severe mobility issues that made day to day tasks almost impossible.Any longer in those conditions could have been fatal.
Our support worker Lizzy earned Tom’s trust, got his heating repaired, and provided warm clothes, kitchen goods and food.
Our Mental Health Practitioner, Louisa, helped him manage finances and rebuild his confidence.
Step by step, Tom is moving towards a brighter, safer future – and Cambridge Cyrenians have been his lifeline.
