We are launching our new blog this week to celebrate Ostara/ the Spring Equinox - The natural world is coming alive, the sun is gaining in strength and the days are becoming longer and warmer. It's a time of regrowth and an exciting moment for starting new things.
Join us here for weekly updates from the allotment plots, bee keeping sessions, gardening group, forest skills days, and much more.
2021 is going to be a very exciting year for us as we will be working in partnership with lots of organisations such as Cambridge University Botanical Gardens with a film for Cambridge Festival.
Cambridge United Supporters Trust have made a donation and will be working on several projects with us this year (see previous post in our blog.) Newnham College Gardeners have donated plants to our new Winter Show Garden and we hope to visit their amazing gardens soon.
Cultivating Change, an organisation promoting well-being benefits from nature have donated lots of seeds to our community this spring.
We have registered with Cambridge Sustainable Foods to 'Grow a Row' for their emergency food provision. We have previously donated gluts of vegetables to the Food Hubs which are open access to anyone who needs them in the local area and we will do as much as we can again this year.
The bees are flying and we're already sowing and planting for the new season at the plots so keep following our blog for updates. And if you like what you see, don't forget to share our blog on all your own social media platforms!
