Our team of Project Workers have been busy this week delivering Christmas dinner packages to residents. We deliver the essential ingredients for a festive meal to each of the houses and residents share the responsibility for food preparation and cooking between themselves.
Almost all of our accommodation is in small, shared houses, rather than large hostels, where residents are encouraged to take responsibility for their own lives. This means that residents have a home to call their own, facilities to cook for themselves, and are supported to make decisions about their homes and futures.
Residents also received a Christmas gift of thermal socks from our friends at Soctopus, a local sock shop who matched their sales on Black Friday and generously donated over 900 pairs of socks.
