What a difference a bit of art makes.

Our newest supported house has bare walls no longer. Thanks to Menor and three generous artists, the space now has colour, and feels more of a home. For someone experiencing homelessness, moving into supported houses that feels comfortable and lived in can really make such a difference.

Our thanks go to:

• Menor, who donated their framing skills and sought out some artists, all to get the artwork ready for the walls
• Bethany Holmes, Deborah Jones and Shveta Maini, three artists who generously donated their beautiful work

None of this would have happened without a chance meeting through the Get Synergised 'With Purpose' network, a group that connects local businesses and charities looking to support one another. It's a good reminder of what's possible when the right people end up in the same room.

We're not finished yet!

We had more donated artwork from Menor and their artists than wall space in this house, which is a lovely problem to have. Over the coming months, we'll be adding pieces to our other supported houses and to our counselling room, so that the same warmth and colour reaches more of the people we work with.

This is also a good example of what business partnerships with us can look like. It doesn't need to be a large donation. Pro-bono services like Menor's framing, gifts in kind, or funding all make a genuine difference to the people we support.
