Text donations

Help us with a text donation .

By making a text donation you can actively assist in the work we do. All donations go to supporting specific projects and activities that directly help homeless people.

To make a text donation you simply text CCYR01 plus a sum of your choice to 70070.
For example: To make a donation of £10..send a text as follows to 70070.

Texts are charged at your mobile phone operator's standard rate. The charity will receive 100% of your donation.

The text message will cost the sum of your choice plus your standard network message charge (based on your service provider rates and terms). Your text message will result in a charity donation to Cambridge Cyrenians.

If your keyword (CCYR01) and shortcode (70070) are valid, you will be charged the sum of your choice via a bounce-back message. On occasions it may take some time for you to receive the bounce-back ‘thank you’ message. Please wait until you receive it.  Proof of text sent is not proof of donation.

The charge will appear on your mobile phone contract bill or be taken from available funds on a non-contract mobile phone (PAYG).

If your keyword  or shortcode  are invalid you may not receive a bounce-back text but may still be charged your standard network message charge.
