Book Launch

'Forty years of working with the homeless in Cambridge'

The book was launched on October 19th this year at the same time as the opening of a related exhibition at the Cambridge Folk Museum. The exhibition will run from the 19th of October before moving to Cambridge Central Library after Christmas. Both projects are funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund.

Service users have been asked to contribute to both pieces of work, as well as providing their own reflections on homelessness. A resume of their reminiscences will be published in a booklet and put on our website.

The work has been researched and produced by the Cambridge Centre for Housing and Planning (CCHPR), which is part of the Department of Land Economy at Cambridge University. They will be holding a seminar following the book's publication to disseminate their findings.

'Forty years of working with the homeless in Cambridge' can be read or downloaded from here. If you would like a printed copy, for free, please contact us on 01223 712501.
